Back-to-School Traffic Surge

Here’s a graph of daily traffic to LessonIndex.com (updated: August 4 through October 3):

And yes, the “baseline” for this graph is zero — traffic has more than doubled compared to a few weeks ago.

The two lines represent “unique visitors” measured by two different sources: blue shows data from Google Analytics, while red shows data from AW Stats based on my server log files.

The graph clearly shows the weekly cycle, with traffic lowest on Saturday.

And here’s another graph of the same data, emphasizing the “day of week” variation:
